Assignment 5. Tyler Walton. _ per.5

#1.) The project of my novel is that no matter how bad things can get and how little a person is, he/she can do big things and true friends will always be there for you when you need them the most.

#2.) The main conflict of this book is when the main character tries to destroy the ring at Mordor and he must face not only other characters (orks) but the supernatural power of the ring and himself as well. The most important conflict would be him versus the supernatural power and himself.

#3.)The conflict contributes to the project by showing you how strong a person is and that if something is important enough to them then they will stop at nothing to finish the job. It also shows that some individuals can overcome the power of certain issues and hardships.

#4.) The violence and the drama. Other elements would be the stuggleand deceit of some people on their journey.

Assignment 4. / Tyler Walton_ per.5

#1. A symbol I found in my book, was the ring. It represents power and evil. All who carry it have the power and strength behind it. It's not a good thing either. It may give power but it slowly takes over the carrier.
A metaphor I found in my book was when the ring made them dissapear. A ring cant make someone vanish no matter how much power the ring holds. The power of the ring is another metaphor because a ring cant harm or destroy.
An allegory I found was the ring again because it didnt only harm but it also made them strongewr and want to move on. The friendship and love between all the characters became stronger. It brought them all closer together as one.

#2. I know that the ring is a symbol because it represents a certain issue/conflict. It has a deep effect on the characters and it shows one thing that stands out and its value.
I know the dissapearance was a metaphor because a ring cant really make someone powerful eventhough they felt like they can.
I know the ring is also an allegory because it has a deeper meaning and shows the harm in this whole issue.

#3. The ring in my book specifically does the job of adding excitement and suspense. It adds a sense of irony and power. The main job of the ring was to get the readers attention and it does.

#4. The project of my book is that when one is in danger and needs help, those who matter most are always behind him to the very end no matter what. They can all be one.

THIRD ASSIGNMENT

1.) My book The Lord of the Rings, is actually very original in its own way but there are frequent moments where other stories come into mind. Such stories like, Star Wars and Sidhartha and even The Matrix or Harry Potter. They all have character traits and charcter actions in common. The stories also have some plot points and their setting and mood is often the same.

2.) The characters and setting make my book original. Thfact that something so small can be huge to certain people. Another issue in the story that makes it really original would be that the variations of different peole and where they came from can unite as one.

3.) Anyone can remake a story. Yeah I think so. If the book was written now, the characters would be different and even the setting or mood. Not to mention the conflicts would be more drastic and violent.

Assignment 2

The main character in this novel is Frodo Baggins because everyone tells him that he is "the one," to carry the ring to Mordore to detroy the ring. He is the one who will be strong enough to get it there safe. Everyone will protect Frodo.

I would compare myself to Aragon because I am very protective and I am a leader and I get stuff done.

I see everything.
